Artist’s Statement
Photography is a form of alchemy and the image is the gold.
A photographer sees an image, takes the picture and then the magic begins.
Sometimes in the camera; other times in the darkroom.
It is somewhere betwen the actual and the imaginary that the mystical occurs.

“Do I contradict myself? Very well, then I contradict myself. I am large, I contain multitudes.”
- Walt Whitman, Leaves of Grass
